nex wed got company event - free movie to watch Harry Porter at Vivo... but i rem i got pilates class... so how? which should i choose? so let's do a cost-benefits analysis:

1) If i choose Harry...

gOOd:

- fun

- entertainment

- relaxing

- wont waste free tix given by company

bAd:

- lost $10 becos pilates cost $10/lesson

- no exercise, jus sit n watch n eat popcorn

- cant slim down

any cOmpensAting??: Yes

- can watch Harry on another day and movie tix for weekend cost $8.36 at cathay ($9.50 less 12% discount if use UOB card at cathay) or $8.50 at GV ($9.50 less $1 discount if use HSBC at GV) or free if exchange UNI points for tix :p

2) If i choose Pilates...

gOOd:

- exercise

- healthy

- can slim down

- wont waste $10 lesson

bAd:

- missed free movie

- cant watch with gang

any cOmpensating??: No

- no pilates makeup class

cOnclUsiOn: choose to go pilates becos movie tix of max. $9.50 is still cheaper than pilates per lesson cost of $10; and can exercise n slim down :p

so... who wan go watch harry with me??? :)

our company year end is Jun, so this is the time when everybody will be guessing how much our next increment will be and wat's the bonus... cos during the year I was on secondment to IA together with my 4 other "sisters"... but during the year we were re-seconded back to EA to help out for more than 2 months at different intervals... in the end we didnt have as much exposure and jobs in IA... we were promised a decision of whether we are able to perm transfer b4 year end but they gave excuses that becos we didnt got the opportunity to be involved in more jobs so our secondment will be extended so as to better assess our performance... crap lah... when they were trying to coax us to go back EA to help out, they promise us stars n moons and even say our appraisals in EA will be considered... now they come to say such craps... and we become 'floating' employees not belonging to anywhere... worse of all, they penalise our bonus... all becos we r secondees, we r not able to get even the lowest bonus range tt our peers get in EA and even IA... sighz... too bad... we r jus secondees belonging to no department... sucky...
