yesterday went for our 1st pilates class at serangoon CC... only me n littliest pig as ah pig went to celebrate her hao-ge's hatchday hohoho :p 1st visit to serangoon CC, wow quite a nice CC hee ;) the dance studio was on the 4th floor n we waited for the lift altho we saw potential fellow classmates climbing the stairs hohoho :p the class has about 12 students, i think 4 of us are new.. is a guy teacher taking the class.. we did lots of stretching of the arms n legs n i can feel achy all over after the class.. n yes i feel achy all over today especially.. mayb our yoga class had been too relaxing hahaha :p at pilates we used a thera-band for certain postures.. the thera-band is a long piece of cloth make of material like balloon haha n initially i tot we need to buy some stretcher thingy :p see the pic..

today vesak day, went 2 temples in the morning with papa mama n ken, den went OG with tUtU boi (aka chi) to buy bedsheets hohoho cos saw bedsheets on sale n got 20%+20% discount so tot we can buy 1st :p n we bought 2 sets! is so heavy to carry them ard, lucky we din buy got converters de :p papa told us amk hub got aircon fair by GC on sun den mama called say she saw newsppr tt the fair started today so we decided to go take a look.. but we got 'cheated'! :( okok not cheated.. is misunderstood... mama meant amk park not hub... sighz... wasted trip carrying our heavy bedsheets ard... same as ah pig, we r deciding on a 37" philips LCD tv.. recommended by the salesman when we went mega courts on sun... courts was selling at $2199 + free $500 philips voucher.. cos tUtU boi's bro's fren is working in philips so he will be checking out the staff price for us :) oso recommended by the courts salesman, we r deciding on a mitsubishi fridge, 3 doors , stainless steel finishing and a maytag front loaded w/machine... these 2 items big pig will be checking with her grand uncle for us heehee ;) rem to ask leh big pig sis :) *grin*

Fengshui master say K's design is worse than M in terms of practicality... altho no conflict with fengshui but not comfy n practical to stay in... sighz...

the fengshui master shot down M's designs... cannot have kuang1 kuang1 in the middle of the living room... got to minimize corners and angles... kitchen stove must be against the wall... den he asked y we wan the island, y wan to fix the sofa.. dunno y he wan to comment about these since these doesn't go against the fengshui logic so i still wan the ISLAND!! bleh :p sighz... informed M liao b4 he fly, so he said will think about it n redo when he comes bac next week... :( anyway we send K's design to fengshui master, see if he got any comments...

last fri the 6 sisters met up at pitstop cafe for a complaint-cum-gossip-cum-celebrate tyng's bday hehehe.. 1st time visiting pitstop.. it's a games cafe similar to settler's, but i felt that it's more fun there :) see the photos and scribbles on the wall behind? the pics are customers who went to the cafe b4 and we are to paste our pics anywhere on the wall n can scribble anythg we like ;) see the penguin water dispenser on the right? tt's how they serve us ice water, interesting ya ;) n the cups which they serve drinks in look like those jam & kaya jars, jus tt the cups come with handles hahaha ;) we played 4 games, games tt we nvr played b4 and r so interesting too heehee ;p soooo fun! shall visit them again :) actually tyng's bday is like 3 weeks later hohoho but we decided to celebrate for her 1st in case we cant find a common timing nearer the date.. cos she din noe tt we will actually celebrate for her, she was soo soo surprised! hehehe hope she like the surprise n the gift we got for her :) maybe shall find a day and get the 3 pigs + hubbies n HQ+YQ and we will all go play at pitstop :D

sat was a busy day.. we met up with ID M in the morning and ID K in the afternoon to discuss the quotations and view their designs... and in between we actually had time to watch a mOvie! haha we watched "Blades of Glory", is sooooooooo funny hahaha :p
anyway regarding the IDs, M's ideas are more creative and unique but quotation is higher loh $60K... K's designs are not as unique as M but the prospective view that he showed us was very nice :) n quotation was $5K cheaper than M and included more stuffs... but we still wanted something unique which we felt that only M could do it.. so we requested M to do some re-designing and re-quotation, then we will see who to choose... hee ;) oh ya.. we have decided to drop the other 2 IDs le.. keke :p
had checked with HDB, they will hack all the floor tiles for living + the 4 rooms and we can provide them our own tiles n they will lay for us so we can save on some labour charges woow ;)
Okies so now we will wait for M and see what 'special' designs he can give then we will compare which quotation is more worth it :)

happy happy day!!! :D today went through the 10 issues that we raised with the client and they accepted all except 1 which we knew will be shot down :p den manager came to review and was impressed that we actually went to clear the issues with higher level wooooow hahaha, but he haven review our working papers tho :p hohoho tmr will be a short n relax day cos we finished all our work le, jus some loose ends to tidy :p
so me and ah ling went for a good lunch at ichiban boshi, novena.. but they dun haf the bento set that i usually eat, so wont be gng back to tt outlet anymore... cos the bento set tt i usually eat got chawanmushi, tempura and sashimi de and the price is worth it ;) esplanade's outlet dun haf tt too so sorry esplanade, u r out! hohoho opps getting crazy :p
den... my dear hubby-to-be smsed tt HDB will be hacking all our tiles!!! gOOd news ya! yeAh!!!!! :D oh yah, show u our floorplan ;)

finally i can access to post new posts... this blogger website is cookoo at nite... sighz... so i'm doing it now at lunch time hohoho :p Oh ya missed this out, CTE was super smooth at ard 830am today... dunno y... hahaha

yesterday went to eat the famous wee nam kee chicken rice recommended by ah ling, so we took a cab there cos didn't know how to walk over.. not bad.. chix was a little tough, maybe different cook haha.. so after a heavy lunch we decided to walk all the way back to NSC since we can see where Novena Square is :p while walking through novena sq to go towards TTSH i saw my QUN sweets! heehee in new packaging and flavour woow.. so we bought 1 pack each, sode&grape.. sour & sweet... nice yummy :)

started work after my long 9 days of break... sianz... -.-
on new job at NSC near TTSH, can take cab, but the cab fare in the morning is ridiculously HIGH! $4 for booking, $2 for peak hr, $5.30 ERP!!! my meter fare is only $12 loh... ride bac is so much cheaper of a total of only $12 (including $2 peak + $0.50 ERP).. hmm y the difference in my meter fare?? weird... anyway i can claim so nevermind lah :p
Mon, had yoga in the evening... tis new teacher seems to be repeating the same moves every week and like never prepare for class... but she improved le... teach more variation of the basic moves, and prepare notes on wat to teach for the day... in any case, we are only left with 2 more lessons with her, think the previous teacher shld be bac for the nex session le bah... ;)
signed up pilates with yun and qingee... but is at serangoon CC... hope it will be fun ;)

aNd it's FriDay...

wed afternoon received call from HDB say the hubby-to-be (aka htb) wrote the date wrongly on one of the documents, instead of 30/04/07, he wrote 30/40/07... hahaha :p so we went down to TPY to re-sign the doc and at the same time asked about the defect form... but hdb say cos our flat is repurchased de, so actually we hav to accept as it is and supposedly is no defect form for us de... HOW CAN?!?!? :( but nvm we went to SK branch instead cos in any case, defects is incharge by them and they say to list down the defects and give to them, yeah! :p
had arranged to meet 4 IDs (2 per day) on thu n fri at new flat, so decided to start checking for defects while waiting for them... on thu, htb started with kitchen wall so i went to start on the room floor... squating n hopping n jumping ard is sooooooooo tiring especially after playing badminton... *sweat* but we finished all the tiles checking in a day!! hehehe :D thur met ID A at 11am, she walked ard n took note of our requirements esp the fengshui requirements, half hr only n she's done, saying will requote and let us know.. met ID M at 5pm, gave us 2 drawings, took note of requirements, n <1hr he is done, saying will requote n draw new pics for us by nex fri :) like him better, got pics to show us n got design in mind :) 2day (fri) met ID C at 10am, same as ID A, but keep saying her stuff will be more ex than contractor cos hers got include her design fees... den met ID K, not bad, gave us drawings and some perspective view of living rm and kitchen, got color somemore, try to help us save cost, but kind of wanna insist on certain of his ideas, not bad lah... so will see wat designs the 4 will come up with and how's the quotation like... most prob will be considering between ID M and K... altho yun is using ID M and if we take ID M we both shld be able to get discounts but all are still sooooooo ex!!! hahahaha :p
found more defects 2day and listed all down even those nitty gritty ones hehehe :p lucky SK branch is just across the rd, so we went straight to submit our list... the staff was quite friendly, typed all the defects we noted into the system for submission...
wanted to go watch spidey3 at cathay but when we reach at 5++ all tixs were sold out and the nex available one is 12mn... OMG is sooooooooo popular!!!!! nvm will watch tomolo and will go get tix early :p watch at cathay got 12% discount using UOB card or watch at GV got $1 discount using HSBC card but cant book online so gotta go there to buy...

yeah!!! we had our grand door opening 'ceremony' today!! lots of guests turned up... we have chi's mummy and bro, my mummy, papa, 叔叔，婶婶，yun and xin che & cil :p
1 May 2007 230pm mOOnvale... waited for Fengshui Master to arrive and he started the 'scatter rice+salt at every corner of the house' ceremony... then we followed him to every room where he explained what we need to place where, where's the wealth spot, etc... interesting and quite a fair bit of 'instructions' to follow such as we have to place ancient coins at specific corners, need to have blinds for balcony and cannot open full, etc... while Master 'gave a talk' to the 'crowd' surrounding him, chi & me started our 'check-for-hollow-tiles' exercise hahaha... but we only started for about 5min and people realised that we are missing kekeke :p
we had arranged to meet up with the IDs during this week and see who can give us good designs and $$$, and we will decide who we prefer :p no ID appointment scheduled for tomolo, meeting up with wen and albert for badminton at YCK... then afternoon going to our new place to 'search' for faulty tiles, to search for as many as possible so we can change everything hehehe :D
