tOng's 5th birthday...

we celebrated tong's birthday on sat... it was her 5th birthday...

she got a big snow white & the 7 drawfs bday cake...

MTM my bridaL gOwn?

as i previously mentioned, i had went bridal shop to try and chOose gowns... but didnt find any off-the-rack (OTR) bridal gown that i really like.. but i still shortlisted 1 that is quite nice n fits me n wont make me look fat :p but the color is too champange.. i wan my bridal gown to be more white but not too white.. champange is ok for evening but for morning i kind of find it too yellowish le... not 白色婚纱... so i went to the sister shop to take a look.. problem is i can try everything.. i can only 'see see look look' and at most try 1 or 2 pieces... if i wan to try all, i must confirm transfering to the sister shop n top up $200... they so scheming.. so gals who r not married yet, remember to hav everythg written black n white watever they promise u... in any case... as i can onli see see look look, is difficult to see if i like anythg unless i try them on.. so i decided tt mayb i shld jus mtm since is included in my package...

arranged appointment w my designer on 8/8 evening, mama went w me.. roughly told my designer my basic requirements.. cos i really got no idea of wat i wan so we flipped thru mags... came up w a design eventually...

heehee my own drawing... something like that lah ;) i didnt managed to secretly take a pic of the gown tt i kiv so no pic to show... i wanted my gown to be in off-white, with the 'V' in front and in satin.. but after tt day, i think got netting/organza looks nicer ;)

the problem now is, i cant decide whether to mtm now.. bcos there will be a new batch of gowns coming in early-sep.. if i can find something tt i like frm tt batch, den gOOd but if i cant, either i stick back to the champange gown tt i kiv or i go for mtm.. den the thing is, if i were to decide to mtm onli in early-sep, it wont be ready in time for my photoshoot in end-sep... altho i will be able to wear it for my actual day... means i wont have my bridal gown in my albums... den again, if i were to decide to mtm now, i shld not be considering watever new gowns tt come in sep n wat if the mtm gown turn out to be not nice???

howhowhowhowhow????? after discussing with xin che, she suggested tt mayb i shld jus get the designer to mtm the exact replica of the champange gown jus changing the color to off-white now so tt i noe the gown shld turn out fine and to 4get abt the batch coming in sep...

hAppy biRthdAy to hQ & Qingee & singapOre :p

sat we celebrated hq n qingee's bday... all these years the gals had been celebrating their bdays together cos their dates are only 5 days apart... as tis year is hq's 21st bday, she booked a chalet at downtown east n all of us r invited 'cept her frens hohoho :p it has been quite a long while since the last time i went to downtown east, wat more a chalet there... the biggest difference from the last time i went there was the multi-storey carpark at the once upon a time guarded entrance... the carpark practically covered the whole view of the chalets from the outdoor carpark side...

back to the bday celebration... we had BBQ!! long time since our family had BBQ... i think the last was yun's 21st day, which was 5yrs ago??? hahaha :p hq got a few gifts struck off her wish list, n coincidentally or mayb on purposed(?), hq got quite a few adidas items... the highlight of her prezzies is the blue adidas watch, courtesy of er ge... hope she likes, loves the prezzies that all of us got for her... as qingee didnt issue out her wish list, she got fewer physical prezzies but more angbows instead... i think *ching$$ ching$$* is better ya? hee :p

wah our co-ID, supposed to meet me at new house at 930.. i waited till 1015 n called him several times but no ans so i left... he supposed to meet yun at her house at 1030 so i went to kpo at her house... n he is not there too... n we were there at 1130 n still no signs of him... later he called n said he overslept... sighz... wat can we say...

anyway, while waiting, i took some pics of new house...

living room: windows are up at balcony and wiring is in progress...
bathroom: 'roughing' of the tiles to get ready for overlaying and boxing up of pipings is in progress waiting for changing of all pipes to stainless steel...

kitchen (left): wall to yard is completely knocked off and island base is up but the measurement is wrong..
kitchen (right): kitchen cabinets base is up but the measurement is also wrong... who says the cabinets must be as fat as the fridge?????

today HTB went to cement in the last FS coin in kitchen before tiles are laid and he said that the tiles have arrived... tiling work is expected to be done this coming week...
while inspecting onsite, i did my own measurements of the kitchen cabinets... i wonder if the ID did go onsite to do the exact measurements... in any case, i've decided to change the entire layout of my kitchen cabinets.. had oreli told the co-ID but i think gonna wait for ID to confirm/ redesign... y does my ID has to go into sideline at tis point in time... he keep going overseas is very difficult to get things done if needs his involvement... *shake head*
